Is there a trick or just a matter of 'show grid' and cut it up manually?
designers: how do you cut-up a photoshop image for html tables?

You can use your slice tool on the toolbar, or you can use the "create slice from layer" option. Some people use imageready, I do all mine right in PS. If you do a save for web once you'd made your slices, you can have it generate the html for you as well.Comment

You mean printing it out and using an x-acto knife then rescaning each piece is not how everyone else does it?Comment

Fireworks is also a great tool for cutting the images..PornGuy skype me pornguy_epic

why import it? save for web feature in PS does teh exact same thing but with better compression.Comment

Can't agree with that. The compression and the quality is way better when i save it optimized within image ready. Maybe it's me who is doing something wrong ... dunno. But in the past i had everytime better results using image ready.Originally posted by iwantchixx

I just flatten image and add a background layer and color it in
then carefully crop out the images
if I fuck up, I just do it againComment
