Traffic101 if you stole content, or even worse and entire site design, then you're scum and you shouldn't be in this biz. If the only way you can make $$ here is to copy other people's work then you should seriously consider other career options.
As for Webair, getting an email from another pissed off webmaster is not reason enough to remove an account. If you get a cease and desist letter from an attorney, then you have to do whatever your legal dept tells you to do, but until it comes to that you need to side with your client.
I have liscenses to every picture on my site, and suppose you got an email from someone saying something was stolen while I was in Vegas in January? I obviously wasn't around to answer the phone or reply to emails. But since I wasn't home and able to reply in what you considered a timely manner would you take down my sites and kill my livelihood while I was away?
And even if you were presented with undisputable proof from an attorney, shouldn't you have taken down only the offending domain and not his entire account? If I recall correctly traffic101 seems much more upset about losing linkdatabase.com than japanbukkake.com.
