                              Same software is for sale on Ebay for $125 from the same guy. He makes a joke about the price in the auction with a link to the real auction with real prices.

                              People just put $1000,000 price tags on auctions so that everyone writes posts on messages boards saying "OMG Look $1M for........." and then everyone has a look.
