    Compare prices for cars between Canada and US

    I am looking to buy a sports car and I am blown away at the difference in price between Canada and the US for the same car.

    Example: Price for a 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10

    US = $84,890 USD or $107,142 CAD

    Canada = $128,500 CAD or $101,810 USD

    WTF?

    Also prices in Canada are firm on exotics yet in the US you can almost always get below MSRP.

    Canada sux

        I say almost always because there are some cars that you just cant buy under MSRP.

        Like the new Ferrari 430. There is a 4 year waiting list and people are payng ALOT more then the sticker price. The enzo is another one but that should be an exception.

            The canadian dollar keeps getting better. Its currently the highest its ever been in 11years at 79cents on the US dollar but they wont adjust their prices.

              I just bought a Saturn a few months ago in Canada but checked out an American dealership first. With the exchange I would have paid the exact same either way.

              Seems for low end cars prices are pretty steady, so the higher up you go the steeper things get.
