When will search be enabled again?

I thought I hearn Lens saying that someone was targeting the seach for a DDOS attack. Sounds like a good reason to disable it

possible , but why would someone ddos specificly the search feature? even if thats the case, why not just limit the searching to users only? or even 1 search per minute per user...


Well, who knows, maybe the owners GFY simply want people to post and ask rather than dig / search for stuff. which makes them more active. and being active is a good thing. it translates into money.

good or bad? they probably cancel eachother out.. but quality webmasters.. would they still keep visiting gfy for answers?

I know everytime i come on GFY its always search first , then post. I just dont like asking questions that might already been asked and responded to by the same 10 people who will be responding to me . time consumption

Would be nice to have it back, even if it's limited to single terms and no users only.

It is hard to take a day or two off and then not be able to reference things you might have missed that actually regard your business...
