A 6 month waiting list to get car insurance? WTF is that? Either they want my business or they don't want my business, I guess they're far too elite to offer insurance to their customers though.

Apparently each State Farm office is only allowed to issue car insurance to X number of customers at any given time and their quota is full. We have to wait until policies move or expire to get in there. "Oh we'd be happy to serve you and offer you great discounts because you already have insurance with us". State Farm? I hate those fuckers.... 20 years of service with them... NEVER made a claim... dropped insurance for 32 days... 2 days over the 30 day limit and they said I would have to go on High Risk.
Why I asked... they said, because the law states that if you are without insurance for over 30 days... it is like you NEVER had insurance at all... Now how fucked up is that?
