i assumed it was a completely ripped off design - but apparently there's more to the story of this design on two affiliate programs.

we paid envisionext to design our site for another product we were coming out with and then we decided to butcher it and use it for our affiliate program,I admit,do to time constraints,we decided to fuck with it ourselves inhouse and get it up quick for the sake of launch.

Now that you guys are talking shit about how shitty it looks,not to mention you guys think we copied Purecash,(we didnt even look at their site when we did this,if anyone is to blame,its the original designers who made it look to close to one of their other customers sites but,then again,Envisionext has sites that look close all over the place as do other design companies.)

I will have this changed as soon as we get a moment of breathing time.

We did not in any shape or form do it purposely.

I think it's an honest mistake of yours.
I'm sure there was an error or miscommunication on Envisionext's end. They do a lot of biz with big companies, they would have no reason to sell the same design twice (or one this similar to the other). I'm sure if you contact them they will correct it quickly for you.

Alright dude,you're going to make me show you exactly what they did in the first place and you be the judge,did Envisionext make it close to Purecash or did we?

If the answere is us,we did it unintentionally with out knowing what Purecash looked like,keep in mind,they designed the core of the site so if they made it too close,it was their fault,

I am not trying to throw blame on anyone anyway,maybe their artist just couldn't be different or creative that day.

it's called a design element - and yes there is not doubt in my mind where the designer got the inspiration for the design element in the top right hand corner. it's a section of a scalloped circle, an outline , which is the Videosz logo.

I check both sites and there might be a couple simular designs. But who really cares as long as the Program works then what is the issue about design.

Plus, I know Marty really well. The last thing he would want to do is copy others designs. I blame the designer with Marty not knowing.

I'm not taking sides here, but there are so many designs out there that resemble others. I see it all day...Even with TGP's and reality sites. This is there first launch design...I'm sure VideoPass will be updating ther look or versions as they grow.

mutt, I love the fact that you jump to Michael's defense every chance you get. That's loyalty.

However...

The chances of Marty sitting around looking at stuff to "steal" isn't really a happening thing. Frankly he sits around with way too many ideas of his own in his head to have time to know who is doing what.

If, and I'm still not sure on the IF, since I've seen how Marty's team works, someone took something to work from, there still aren't enough similarities here to cause any drama.
