I belive in David Blane

The Devil is totally real. I've seen him. He is red and has horns and shit on his head. Just like on TV. I bet David Blaine is a Satanist. Magic is the Devil. Run for the hills now.

He is really something else he is so talented and very enjoyable to watch

also david blaine looks like he might be arab. they should arrest that dangerous fuck. imagine how many WMD's he could make dissapear and reappear. scary stuff.

he walks up to you and asks you to choose a WMD... then you look at it, remember it... then he puts the WMD back with the others and mixes them up... then next thing you know the WMD is in your back pocket but he did not move. crazy shit. i hope they arrest that guy.

Been doing illusions for about 3 years now and am very fortunate to be working as an Illusionist now and I throughly enjoy it

So that being said I have a little first hand knowledge

Illusions are what performers like myself or any of the famous performers you could name do
The Magic is what happens in the audience's eyes and mind when they view and enjoy your illusions

Ergo the performer is just the show, the audience/your subjects are the magic

David Blaine is an excellent/brilliant performer. Many of the illusions he does are very simple (I do a few of the same ones myself with little twists)

Few if anyone in the past 30 years has done as much to bring attention to performing Illusions as David Blaine has. In that respect all working Illusionists owe David Blaine a debt of gratitude

Many diehard (so called( "magicians" dislike Blaine, in most cases it is simply jealousy because Blaine has earned renown and they are still struggling (truthfully many of these "jealous magicians" I've met are lacking in charisma and personality to obtain the level of success Blaine has)

Other "magicians" feel Blaine has exposed too much - I feel exactly the opposite. By "exposing" or using easy illusions Blaine has pushed the world of Illusion and performers. If someone knows the trick(s) you must come up with something new and different

Beyond the street magic Blaine has done I didn't care for the suspended box thing

I think the only real "trick" he does is the levitation, cuz other ppl around the world do it as well and they aren't magicians. They meditate for years and all.
