Well Ross, I think it is more a case of London people that have had a series of car jackings lately. Perhaps other parts of the country don't understand that fear but that is part of the price of living in a huge city like London.
For the record, I am not sure what I would have fully done but I do know I wouldn't have been able to just leave her there. I might not have wanted to get out of my car to move her for a variety of reasons from not being a doctor and not knowing if it would be safe to move her to being afraid of either being hit by a car myself or that it was a trap. So, I would have also taken the cell phone option while not leaving the area until help did get there. As it is it was a bus driver that helped her. I wonder if not really having the fear of his bus being hijacked was the little bit he needed.
