my buddy just reformatted his PC not long ago. he had bought WinXP Pro from the store for a ridiculous amount like 400 bucks or something.
and when he tried to reinstall it it told him his serial number had already been registered and he couldn't install windows.
took about 3 hours on the fone with MS to get them to release it so he could use it again.
fuck you bil gates.
