Passing of a friend

I was just informed of the passing of a dear friend.

For those of you who knew Jeanette from jeanette.net, she was a wonderful mother and as sweet a person as you'd ever want to meet, and an amazing business mind. She passed away last month from injuries sustained in a car wreck.

She will be greatly missed.

What a shock! I shot content for her, but most enjoyed oue many spirited ICQ conversations. Any word on who has taken her poor children? Boy, it's almost unimaginable for a child to lose a parent, especially a single parent.

I'm talking to her boyfriend on ICQ now...I gues her parents...

I was looking through my ICQ history and have conversations with her dating back to late '98 when she needed some graphics...

it still just hasn't sunk in yet...I can't concentrate o work or anything...

last I'd talked to her was when we were discussing her joining the DarkDollars family of sites...

I'll be sure to post any further information I recieve...apparently her family is also opening up a fund for her 4 children....

man i remember when she was just starting out. i used to make graphics for her quite often. and the chats were always interesting...

certainly will be donating, i know she had 2 or 3 kids didnt she?

so sad

She had 4 kids and was 8 months pregnant with her 5th

i remember when she was first starting out as well.

sad news, she was a great person.

it's always the great people in this world who die to soon, or for some dumb reason (car accident).

This is truly very sad. Jeanette was a good friend of mine. I hosted many of her sites as well...She was a very sweet person, and will be missed dearly.

This has just ruined my day. I'm half hoping someone will say it was a big mistake, but from the information at hand, obviously it isn't.

Does anyone have any more detail? Was she struck, did she go off an icy New Hampshire road? Were her kids in the car?

she passed away a couple weeks ago, but an announcement hadn't been made until this morning as the readying of her affairs was getting taken care of.

I was wondering why I hadn't seen her online in sometime, as we were preparing a business arraangement to bring her into the Dark Dollars family........

sykk, do you know if jeanette's boyfriend is going to continue running the site? if so, does he need any help? ill certainly volunteer some time to help if he needs it. i dont know how involved anyone besides jeanette was in her stuff...

I asked him about this, this am and he said the family (which now has rights to her sites) was most likely going to take them down.

I didn't have the pleasure to know her but this is very sad! She was so young. This is very upseting, I can't beleive God would take such a young mother... it's sad.
