    Just in time for Xmas!

    I guess Saruman gets his ass kicked in this one, amongst many other goodies, including a lot more action

    The Return of the King" will feature 50 additional minutes of new footage, a new musical score and a cameo appearance of Jackson being felled by an arrant arrow. All DVD and VHS extended versions of "King" will be featured in a widescreen format with Dolby Digital EX 5.1 Surround Sound, DTS ES 6.1 Surround Sound and stereo surround sound.

                                                                              Funny you should say that...........I the Extended Version, one of the scenes will be a drinking contest between Legolas and Gimli.......thats no shit........it will be in there, to see who can outdrink who, a dwarf or an elf..........and they both get really shit-faced.

                                                                                          nope, no razing of and reclaiming of the shire in it..........Jackson figured the movie would be 5 hrs long if he included that as that part is a whole build up, climax, and resolution itself........too long........but, yes, grima and sauruman do meet their end in the EE version
