As far as Valentine's Day goes, it's turned into a day reserved for women to bitch and moan and get pretty much any bauble, candy, dinner, roses, wine, sex, etc. that they want. If he doesn't do what you want, he gets fried for it. I know many a couple who split on V.Day because he didn't get her something that she really wanted.
