    Serious question: What would you do?

    What would you do if your GF asks for a break and you find out that she has been going out with a ex-boyfriend of hers.

    Should I just dump her?

    I´m really upset right now, so it would be nice if all the haters just fuck off right now...

                  If you honestly feel inside she is salvagable and you love her then well let her go and see if she returns. Wish her happiness and the best and let her know that you will be there but you can not promise for how long.

                          Do you love her?
                          Has she been fucking this other guy?
                          Do you think she loves you?

                          There's tons more. I'm not hating, just pointing some stuff out. Find out the answers to these questions and you'll be a little more clear on the situation.

                                  To be honest if someone said they needed a break from me and they were suppose to be my partner I would make the break last forever. Loving me and supporting me (and vice versa) shouldn't be a chore and it isn't a part time job.

                                                          Neither issue can be forced or cooerced, if it is, it's doomed anyway.
                                                          So give in to the stark reality of things and tell it like it is.


                                                          edit. Hmmm maybe that was too harsh, but still serious. Take a step back and look at it as it is. Not as you want to see it, not with "spin", but the facts of it. A "break" is for Friends on TV. It's not real. She's too much a wimp to break up with you, so do it for her... sorry.

                                                              I know you're hurting; but, what bothers me is she started seeing the ex before she asked for a break.

                                                                                      Yes there are girls out there who cant be trusted, but why is she considering leaving?? What is it about this ex that in comparison better than you? Learn from her mistake to avoid it in the future.

                                                                                      I have known guys who allowed this to happen, and they ended up never trusting a woman again - and their self confidence dropped down so far they couldnt find another girl again.

                                                                                      And NO - This is not justification to men that they should have more than one girlfriend since the likely hood of her cheating gives you several options.

                                                                                      But dont look needy dude - girls hate a man that has no confidence in themselves.
