    what makes a good domain name?

    ahhh...I am searching for a good domain name and just curious what's worth looking for?

    does something like www.kw1kw2.com get picked up by google for each keyword? Or is www.kw1-kw2.com better? And how about going for www.kw1_kw2.com just to get SE hits...worth it?

                      A really good domain name is a single word that people search for often. i.e. cheese.com

                          yes, but I am sure most one word domains are taken...how about two words?

                          bluecheese.com
                          blue-cheese.com
                          blue_cheese.com

                          would google get "cheese" from "bluecheese" and are the other two worth it?

                                              All the obvious names have been taken. Nowadays, you need to shock the surfer with something memorable. porn4losers.com or imgonnakillyoutgp.com would be good examples. It's offensive, but it sticks in your mind.

                                                      thats a fairly common name you would think was taken but it wasnt. And its a keeper for sure. I reged a few really nice ones a couple hrs ago. All worthwhile

                                                                  The thing you have to think about is the length, If it matches the concept of your site, and If it will stick in the minds of your surfers. Good luck in finding a name that is worthwile and try ebay once and awhile something good comes up for auction...
