Just recently I went to my favourite club and there was some new bouncers. Well I thought ok cool. So I get inside, and the guy is searching me, he says ok your good, then I go to walk up the stairs to pay in and he say to me "Tips in the bucket"
erm.......What?? This is the first time I saw this, I go to this club a lot and now the bouncers are taking tips. Why?
Like you say Battus, you don't put $2 or something in the bucket you aint getting in again.
Now lets look at it like this. These guys are paid decent money over here. Probably about $12 an hour just to stand at the door and look at hot chicks and shit. So they get this money. Now this club holds around 1000 people or so. Say every person tips £1. Thats £1000 (i know not everyone will tip but some will tip more and some less.
These bouncers at the door are getting £1000 between them per night. I don't think thats fair.
