Hang on a sec. If it's only a month old, then it may well not be anything to do with the PC itself, but a nasty virus called Netsky. Anyone remember that?

Head over to symantec.com and type "Netsky" into the search. Download the fix. It will scan your computer to see if you have Netsky, and if you do, it will fix it for you.
