The free one requires globals on in php which means it's not safe on a shared server.

Let's say I crank out a tgp script for you and it's not encoded. Anyone with a keyboard hooked up to their computer and a little knowledge in programming is gonna want to modify the way the program works. If you fuck with the code, then there is a chance that you could unbalance the code. If you ask me to troubleshoot, then I'm going to expect to see my code, unchanged, so I know where the hell I'm going in my code -- not a hybrid of my code and your code. I think I'm going with agp sql, I don't need to alter the code but I want to know what the script is doing. Maybe I'm paranoid but I wouldn't do it any other way.
Why not put a disclaimer that if the code is altered a certain way it will not be suppoted or costs more for support?
I can't believe AGP is the only open source option, I used them like 5 years ago and they are still the best a far as I can tell.
