    JFK and Fubarwebmasters.com is it time for a change?

    First and Foremost , I love JKF he has always been pleasant and helpful to me and he has carved out a great little niche in the industry.

    This is NOT A BASH SESSION. Just some creative criticism.

    I was thinking its time that he changed up his site a bit the black is kind of boring and I feel he could better showcase the sponsors.

    I would love for him to Visit offices on his trips and take pictures and have corresponding pictures/video's and interviews with staff members. So I know who I am dealing with.

    Is it time JFk bought a video cam and added Video to his site too?

    I think it would be cool if you could add your own caption or decription to the pics. Give it some more depth.

    What do you think?


    P.S Jfk please dont read into this the wrong way i was just thinking when I was looking at your site today like I do most days.

              I think video may be difficult and adding captions may be difficult. If he added captions and names, that'd mean he'd have to record each and every persons name in correspondance with the frame number unless he only snapped pics of people he knows.

              Other than that, the design and layout should be easilly tweaked.

                      Let the user log in and add it himself or something. EX: If htere was a pick of you and John Doe you could log in and Say SHERSHACK and JOHN from blanksexmoney.com or whatever getting thier grove on. That way I know the person in the pic.

                          Good idea, but can you really trust that webmasters would only log into there pix and only post that it's them under it.

                          I doubt anyone would fake who is under each pic

                              I LOVE JFK - and I don't want to create a headache for him or make his life more difficult... but if he's up for some of those changes... then by all means... I would ENJOY seeing those on his site ...

                                      It would be rather hard to shoot both pix and video, and to be able to go and cut interviews I don't see it being possible. He already has enough work on his hands making it to every party and place during a show.

                                      Plus with video it would get very time consuming getting everyone to fill out a model release if there is a boob or anything else shown.

                                      Plus, if you notice on Fubar there are a lot of times where it will say "pic taken down by request"

                                      He would have a hell of a time doing the edit's on every video before he could post it.

                                      These are good ideas, but expansion of what he already does does not seem needed.

                                      If it ain't broke don't fix it!

                                          Other than maybe a small design change, I like the site as is. I wouldn't want video to be honest. Captions or names of people in the pics would be great, but not realistically possible to capture every single name and with the volume of pictures taken, would take way too long.

                                              This could create tension between people who do biz, and the last thing JFK would need to someone posting Pedo, or something racist under one of his sponsors pix to make him maybe lose his investors.

                                              It would also create a place where he would have to monitor pix numerous times a day, and that's just a headache.

                                              Don't know who it is in a pic, hot link it to GFY and say "Hey who is this?"

                                                              JFK would then have to get a model release for everyone he shoots. Since he has nudity on his site it would be considered adult, plus if he caught a boob at a booth he'd need that as well.

                                                                  There is some great Video clips on Rochardsbunnyranch with both nudity and webmasters and I dont see him have any trouble with it.

                                                                      Video would be ok, but he shoots at randon via Rochard who has pix of his friends.

                                                                      It would and could become a huge time issue to do that.

                                                                      Plus then he has to hire another person to shoot and edit video.

                                                                      He would also have to charge through the roof for ad space as well, think of the bandwith bill he would come up with if he had hours of footage to watch for free.

                                                                              Exactly as I said, it would become a nightmare for his editor to edit out any video of people who do not want to be shown. Taking a pic down from a server takes 10 seconds, editing video can take hours.

                                                                                                                                                              Thanks for the input guys, There are reasons for us not doing a few things like names under pics.. one of them is it would be impossible to get the pics up in a timely manner, they only have a limited shelf life , till the interest in the event fades. Secondly a lot of peeps dont mind pics taken "but dont you use my name". I really dont feel there is enough interest in posting videos. It is time consuming the loading factor etc. as well as having someone doing the edits.I have considered it in the past but, decided against it. By the time you load a video you could have gone tru 5 pages of pics. With the pics you can drop them at any time then go back and pic up where you left off. Someone once described FUBAR as "that Ugly little site".......then it sort of grew on them and they started advertising. We still do business with them 2 yrs later. It might not be leading edge but it works, its like a comfortable old shoe, might look like shit but its the one you always wear. Like someone or someones in here said "if it aint broken dont fix it". I had offers to redisign it a number of times, I give the go ahead, then the people come to me asking well what do you want ? So up to this point it never went anywhere. We will be making some minor adjustments as we go along. Thanks for everyones input appreciate it J

You will be photographed, no matter if it's on the showroom floor, naked on the beach in front of a bonfire, or in a private hotel room in a hot tub. Generally speaking people know what pictures can be put on line, and they usually run them by everyone involved before putting them.

After returning from Mexico I put up a video of Derek that I thought "pushed it". I ran it by Derek before putting it up, and only after getting his approval did I show it to anyone.
