If you don't eat at least something small for breakfast, you run the risk of making poor food choices later in the day. Your blood sugar levels get too low and your body will crave something high in carbs or sugar for the quick boost. By eating 5-6 small meals at regular intervals throughout the day you keep your blood sugar levels normal and you never feel overly starving.

Also, when you don't eat regular meals, your body is more likely to store the calories as fat reserves because it doesn't know when it's getting it's next fuel.
