Should still be under warranty, get a new one. Although with laptops I dont think I really trust anyone besides Sony, Dell and Apple. Although I've heard some bad stories about Dell on occasion if you still have your warranty alive and kicking at least they get repairs/replacements out to you.

you should see my toshiba laptop. mouse pointer adn kayboard do not work so everywhere i take it (vacation, shows) i hafta take a plug in mouse and keyboard. but the LCD still works. :-)
