                                                                                                    In my opinion, and really it's only my opinion.... but content sellers really need to have their 2257 in order for obvious reasons. That includes having it presented clearly on their site <i>down to the letter</i>. It protects them, AND it protects the webmasters that buy/lease/resell their content.

                                                                                                    Pay sites are a bit different. I believe as long as they provide a way to be readily contacted regarding their records they should be okay. Maintaining some anonymity isn't unreasonable for the kind of site you're talking about, as long as they are on the up-and-up with regards to their content being legal.
