Have you paid any attention to US politics over the last 20 years? The Democrats are just as quick to jump on the anti-porn bandwagon as the republicans.

Look at Tipper Gore, look at the actions of a Democratic controlled house and senate in the eighties, look at the votes of democratic congressmen and senators in the last 12 years, etc....

Sorry, I'm 40 years old. This is not misty ancient history for me, and most of the democrats that were power brokers in the 80s and 90s are still around now.

very hard to say this, but Hitler: at least he wasn't a part of a extremist religieus belief and didn't have nuclear power.

Bush is potentionally way more dangerous than Hitler ever was. And I say this believing Hitler was the biggest monster in history.

so: Kerry, but Dean has the better and more progressive ideas

I don't see how voting for someone that said "There's no place for pornography in a decent society" is a wise thing to do, no matter what the other side may or may not want to do about it. I say Bush is a worst case scenario when it comes to porn, and I would rather take my chances with someone else. I may be wrong, but that's how I feel about it.

Apparently you have not. This is an article during Clinton's presidency by a right wing group:

U.S. Attorneys last year began only six prosecutions in which Federal obscenity violations were the lead charge, down from 42 in 1992, a decline of 86% during the Clinton administration. Out of 93 U.S. Attorneys nationwide, only four initiated a prosecution in which the lead charge was a violation of the Federal obscenity laws.

                        http://www.moralityinmedia.org/index...nt/onlysix.htm

The prosecution of legal porn went down 86% during the Clinton administration from the first Bush administration, while the prosecution of child porn went up under Clinton.

Bill Clinton, a Democrat, decided not to prosecute porn for adults, but rather to focus government resources on illegal underage porn.

Maybe you need to do a little research before you make a post about Democrat vs. Republican presidents records on porn prosecutions?

I guess an 86% decrease in prosecutions isn't any difference?

Why would Democrats not want anyone to see Kerry at an anti-war rally? I think the opposite is true, Kerry and his supporters want the world to know that Kerry was against the war after having experienced it.

Kerry is a war hero who, like most Americans, went on to believe that the Vietnam war had been a mistake.

He served his country, killed communists, and then decided that those who sent Americans to die in Vietnam had made a mistake.

Do you think the Vietnam war was a just and good war or do you think it was a mistake?

i would prefer Clark, but i'll take Kerry if there is no other choice.

and if Clark decides to accept VP that would be an unbeatable ticket.
