i don't think mine is. i feel sorry for the people wasting 4 years of their lives graduating with history or psychology degrees though.

It depends on what counts for you. If education is worth something, college degrees aren´t a waste of time.

If you compare it with porn$$, college degrees wouldn´t help. Maybe they help running your biz professionell, but there are many successful companies run by people without college degrees, so college degrees aren´t a guarantee to earn more $$.

Thinking of it like that, you would have had better spent the time on building galleries.

College can be very helpful if you know that it is that you are tring to get from it. It is not the answer to making it big, but it will help you to make it bigger.

Amen. Take a year or two (or more) and travel the world. See things that will open your little pee brain and make you look at thinks in a new light. Find out what you really want to do in life and not get rushed into picking a major because you have to.

Going right out of high school is just insane. High school... college... life... kids... and whammo - your old. That's why people have a mid life crisis. They did not enjoy their life when they were young and missed out on all the things they dreamed of doing but were to big a pussy to do when the time was right.

I went for one year and dipped. I have never looked back and now live my life the way I want to live it. All my friends who went the full time have 9 - 5 jobs that they hate, most of which have nothing to do with their major.

However, without it... life as a cow would be very difficult.

If you REALLY know what you want to do, have at it and go. But if you are unsure, you need to step back and live a little until you find your groove.

major in biz, minor in psych....considering this business, both have been helpful in one way or another.
