    How takes the day off for their birthday?

    Curious - who here will take the day off work for their birthday?


    personally I won't do it - as a business owner i think it's for the week minded to have to take a day off for your own birthday, although i'd take the day off for my mates birthday as a gift to them.

                      There is no point to taking the day off, cause who really does anything during the day on your birthday? Most would do something at night, cause nobody else they know can get off work during the day.

                      If anything i'd take the next day off, cause i'd be too hungover from the night before

                                  I took the day off and the next 4 also this year since it was my 21st. It was a Thursday and my girlfriend also took the day so we did some things together, we had a party at my house that night then me and my friends went into Town and got so drunk.

                                  I took the next 4 days off coz I went on a Golfing weekend with the guys. My girlfriend did my work for me tho, so even tho I took the day off, I still had my work covered

                                  Next year when I'm 22 I won't bother with the day off, 21 is kinda special !!

                                                  I find I hardly take any full days off at all. It's not that I can't afford to do it. I just somehow feel guilty knowing I would be making even more money, if I just did a few things. More often than not I just end up taking half days here and there.

                                                  I find my birthday is a good excuse to take the day off. The fact of the matter is if you work all the time you will eventually burn out. Sometimes forcing yourself to take a day off is a good thing.

                                                  That's just me though.

                                                          Eh, if I have something fun to do during the day then sure I'll take it off. Wft did I put in all those years of working 17 hrs a day to get things rolling for if I can't afford to take a fucking day off once in a while now?


                                                          But if I have nothing planned then it's just another day to me. Damn rights I'll sit at the computer. I don't often think of what I do as work anyway.

Ill put on my favorite outfit , wash my porshe , visit my parents, and then go for food and drinks with a few close friends. If I do everything right, by 2am ill be going 140mph down the high way with a scared drunk slut in my passenger seat.
