ebays a joke man stay clear of that , make money in porn or build your own site as soon as you make sucess of ebay they will shut you down for some random bullshit i was a power seller for 3 years , build your own site pay for google ads.

You need to find something that's not too oversaturated that will still give you a big enough profit margin to be worth your time. Tough nowadays though.

ive sold stuff for a friend of mine who owns a custom motorycle shop... mostly just stuff from catalogs and stuff in the showroom during slow winter months

something that we make an 80% profit on in the shop, we will make 2-8% profit on selling it on ebay after all fee's and paypal fee's are taken care of... so we litterly have to sell 10x as much stuff to make the same profit as selling one item over the counter

if you really want to make some money, buy a print press and start to design and print your own shirts... theres a ton of companies on ebay that all they do is this, and sell their own gear... good money

but w/ rising ebay and paypal fees, its not like it was 5 years ago and the profit margins keep getting slimmer and slimmer

the only other people who are doing very veyr well on ebay is pawn shop owners

You dont even need to buy the press. There is an online company that will print them for you, and they have great prices so the mark up is easy.

I love going to yard sales, I've been doing it for years

I sell a lot of the stuff I buy from them on ebay.. I wouldn't go into the powerselling area though.. too boring for me, I like coming across lots of different stuff that I know will sell

Remeber to sell $5 items with $10 shipping fees, that's where the real money is

We do really good on ebay with video editing products, hard drives and surplus liquidated stuff we buy by the pallett or truckload. There is usually enough profit in these to justify the ebay and paypal fees. You need to look around there are still great things on ebay to sell, you just have to find them

actually a friend of mine makes a killing on ebay.

she goes to the second hand stores and gets vintage clothing. a lot of people really love vintage clothing. and she sells it on ebay and makes a killing off of it.

Well, I know people that do this.

Go to the Salvation Army or other poverty type of stores and pick out name brand stuff that people have donated that is in very good condition. They then sell it on eBay. Some of the stuff you can pick up for a buck or two and sell for 5 or 10 bucks. You don't sell it as brand new...but as in excellent condition...only wore it a couple of times kind of thing.

say you have an item that is worth 50 bucks, you can set it so the auction will go for 100 tickets. each ticket is 1 dollar... so if somebody wins this auction with 1 ticket, he gets your item for 1 dollar and you get 100 bucks... minus the listing fees or whatever.

I agree. Ebay and Paypal are missing out on a lot of $$$ due to their stance on the adult industry. Makes no sense to me. I've always wondered why they don't create adult subsidiaries to cater to our biz. Instead epassporte is (and some others) getting their adult transaction $$$ and sites like you mention get their auction $$$.

I'm sure there's a reason, but I can't figure it out...
