As to the quality of shows, they are what you make of them, anything from the size of a weekend in Vancouver with less than 50 people last spring, to a Vegas Internext.

I'm not much of a show fan period any more but I would be lying if I said I'd hadn't had some great things come out of Fay's shows as well as others.

I just registered, Fay. Thanks for the heads-up!

I haven't missed a Cybernet / WebExpo in 5 years and have always found that webmaster events are a good investment. If you're sitting in the bar waiting for business to come to you, perhaps you'll not do terribly well, but where there are adult webmasters (large or small), there's usually something of value to be found. I guess it just depends on your approach.

PS: Wish I could be as 'lucky' as Sleazy!

Hey Dave, careful who you call "broke"... I can assure you that the feds would certainly disagree with the term "broke". Just another lie from a total fucking asshole.

As for Fay's shows, I believe in them so much that I have helped Fay out with the shows in Montreal. I have also been on discussion panels and such. I did those things because I BELEIVE THAT THESE SHOWS WORK. I think they are a good business investment, and that Fay and the crew for the San Diego show are working on ways to get companies and individuals the exposure they need for business, and the personal time to create relationship that are better than just "faceless names".

Damn..... guess I figured wrong and I am gonna get the last word and not make it to 100.

Brad, there is only 1 Penthouse Suite. Takes the whole top floor - 2 bedrooms - 3,000 sq ft. With balcony all the way around. It was occupied when we were there, but I would think the views would be sensational. Not sure who to let have it. Would prefer to have someone who is going to have a hospitality, as it is completely private & a good spot for something like that. No neighbors to bother. The other suites are much smaller. May let 3 differnt people have it, one night each if they are planning to entertain. The function limit is 75 people at a time.
