I do drink alcohol... but I do not get drunk. Most often times, like in Vegas, I'll drink 3, maybe 4 drinks through out an entire night.
I just don't see the need to be out of control, or to fall down all the time, or to make an ass of myself.... in short, I can have fun without being intoxicated.Comment

I drink it because it's the social thing to do, when out with friends.
I grew up in a bar (family business) and as I got older, I found that if you're hanging out with a group of people, and they're all drunk, and you're not.... they feel very uncomfortable around you. Like you're going to judge them, or remember every dumb thing they do and they won't. You know?
However, if you have a drink in your hand, then it helps allow people to relax more around you. You are then "included" into the group.Comment

I've started drinking less in the past few months, I'll have a few but stop when I know I've had enough. I've even started taking my car when going to clubs, it's great knowing I'm sober coming out and can jump into a car and be home quickly rather than waiting about on a taxi to pick me up.Comment
