it is so funny to me the number of people that will ONLY believe bad things about the US and will ONLY believe good things about the rest of the world. They will LEAP on anything bad that they can say about the US, but never a single peep about the utter horrors that are occurring all over the world every day. I really don't think that the people who compare the US goverment to some of the dictatorships out there have any idea at all what they are referring to....

The point I'm making is that for a lot of people around here...NOTHING about the US is good...and the ONLY thing that they will believe is stuff that makes the US bad.
Anything said that makes the US look good should be suspect, and anything said that makes the US look bad is taken at face value.
