Bout fucking time. I'm shocked he waited this long, but ya just know he's gonna release them like one at a time. Then as a trilogy. Then the first 3 will be released one at a time (2/3s way there), then that'll be released as a trilogy and then all 6 as a box set. Fuck is gonna clean up on people that want to have every edition.

I found some converted DVD's of the orginals in some news groups... they were created from the orginal Laser Disks... not bad quality but not as good as a DVD but still better than tape..
Only one I'm missing is Empire Strikes back, which was my favorite movie of the series. I'll grab these for sure when they come out, but I agree I wish they would have released the orginals insted of the special editions.In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

The "originals" will only exist on VHS/laserdisc. Sadly, Lucas is trying to kill them forever. While some of the special edition stuff is nice, a lot of it is super cheesy (Solo stepping on Jabba's backside, Greedo getting off a horrible shot at Solo ... groan).
