    Video guys! what kbps do You burn your mpegs at?

    Hi,

    What kbps do you burn your mpegs at for your members areas?

    Whats the best video length for the clips too.

    I'm thining 5 minutes. People that pay to join shouldnt have to keep clicking on 1 minute clips but full 15 minute clips are too big.

    I'd appreciate your thoughts on the optimum length and formats.

              For mpgs..anywhere between 600-1000 is a good range IMO. Alot of people (including us) are starting to use wmv format for members because you get better file size and quality. As for clip length...we chop a movie up into 10 parts regardless of how long it is.

                          One minute clips at 1300-1500Kbps. Anything lower ain't really good quality when you blow it up full screen - and who wants to stare at a postage stamp?

                          Also use WMV at 350Kbps but people still like, prefer, MPEGs for some reason.
                          Beat it. Nothing to see here.
