yeah I hear you, I made a seperate group for "new" entries wich I empty every now and then removing the ones who never said a thing.

Yeah it's about time to do that here as well.

I accept just about every authorization because I'm selling a product....but these people need to realize I'm not going to keep them on my list so they can sell me theirs.

If I need something from them I'll come look for them.

Remove your ICQ from your sig and you will NEVER get any spam.

I tried this for a few months and I'm very statisfied. Sig + ICQ = Spam.

I leave it in so those who actually need me will ICQ me so I can help them...these aren't just "spammers" these are company reps...and I approve company reps all the time because I never know who is actually going to contact me about ordering galleries etc.

If only it were that easy. My old ICQ profile constantly got hit on by people who couldn't even speak English. I even put in my profile that it was a business tool for me and I do not use it for personal chatting, but it didn't matter. It's not so bad now. I don't know what is different now, but I don't get bothered with horny bastards wanting to cyber nearly as much.
I used to just respond with a ref link to a site I promote, lmao.

I get a ton of bots lately, I use an older version of ICQ which seems to be very stable, BUT my ignore list is full. Anyway to fix that? I put em on ignore and move on
