The first one is about as impressive as any dry ice "bomb" in that it is not at all. Also done the sodium in water thing. I have produced the triiodine crystals before as well as something simular to thermite and multiple Hydroxide reactions.even ADULTS need TOYS

I can not tell you how many kids went to jail between 98-01 in Mandeville for building, possessing and detonating explosives. I knew people who got federal time for mailboxes, attempted murder for having explosives in cars (they got so tired of the explosions that any bomb transported in a car was deemed car bomb) and thousands of dollars for property damage. For me it was the challange of purifying household chemicals and the creation of something, the last thing I wanted to do was blow up other people's stuff, if others felt the same way they would have been ok.
I do have a lot of my chemisty set in a box in the closet but there is no appeal to do things like that anymore so there it will stay.even ADULTS need TOYS
