Hmm. I don't know. I just picked up 2 tickets from San Diego to Cancun for $400 a piece and also a cross-country ticket for $300 on busy flight days. Happy with both prices.

I tried getting plane tix for hawaii about 2 weeks ago for mid-march. All tickets were like 1800$ across a shit load of airlines..
Best luck for deals is hit the web, thats where I got mine.

When I spoke to the airline people, they said if you can land in another airport but Maui, it may be alot cheaper.

If you have the same scenero, try landing on a different island.

Im also comming from Boston, so the price will be different

Oh well,

It could be the 911/ Security tax. That tax which now all airports/airlines are implementing can raise the cost of a ticket by about $150.00+

i just paid $397 including all taxes etc a piece to Maui..hawaiian air and Aloha are killing it on the prices now

wow......i always fly from here (Wisconsin) to PA and used to be over $200....for the past 6 months, its been around $175...i thought prices were goin down....hmm

I have not priced Hawaii for a while.

I have been flying between Seattle and NYC (Newark) allot the past three years. Last month I paid $185.00 RT on Alaska Air (non stop). This month I paid $275.00 RT on ATA (1 stop in Chicago) with only 4 days notice.

These are some of the lowest fares in the past three years on this route.
