I'll be the first to say I don't want the government to STOP anyone from drinking or smoking... however, DO IT AT HOME!!!!
It should be illegal to do either in public places and to be caught driving while drunk should automatically be treated as attempted murder.
But as I type this just a few blocks from my house the local bar just bought the plot next door to expend their parking lot. This baffles me. The cops should sit outside EVERY bar, EVERY night and flag EVERY car coming out of there. 98% will be shit faced, and the 2% who are not should be happy that the government cares enough to check everyone. Of course this is a pipe dream, but something needs to be done.
