The answer is simple.
Buy her the DVD player, and load it with a VCD that you make with your CD-R (easy) that displays a vase of roses with Happy Birthday Whateveryournameis on it.
something like this might work....
But someone should photoshop that "I Love you bit" and say "This doesn't mean we're fully back together." Or whatever you want to say.
Anyway, the flowers will never die or grow old (just like your love for each other... bahahah) and you'll seem like the most romantic and creative guy ever. Yay for grogans.
