Actually you can get a cellular connection now

It's less than $200 installed here. I haven't done it because I need a complete overhaul of the system and figured I'd do it all at once and I keep putting it off.
My 2 main reasons for having an alarm:
1. I want it to go off if I'm in the house and someone breaks in
2. I want it to go off in case of fire - even if I'm gone.
I couldn't care less if someone breaks in and takes everything while I'm gone. It's all insured.
That said, I haven't turned the damn thing on in over 2 years.
