If I say "spam me with sponsers" or "what's your best teen sponser" does it make me cool?
your an idjut
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
It's probably because that's how they think it's spelled. Either that or they're one of those little AOLers that spell "your" like "yer".

I guess that's kinda chain reaction...
Here is my theory: Some one mistyped it some day and few newbies tought that's kinda "lingo" and copied that...and that goes on and on..

No.. it's simply that they can't spell. two ones i've seen in the past day were "vane" instead of "vain" and "nabours" instead of "neighbours". This board has the worst spelling i've ever seen.

People write "sponsers" because no one can spell any more. In my "other life," I teach English. People ask me if I teach English to non-English-speaking people. No, I teach English to people at a very large company who were born in the U.S. but still can't speak or write English properly. The rules for spelling, puctuation and grammar are so complicated. The schools have really failed, and employers have to now become schools.
Here are a few helpful hints for you:
1. a lot (not alot when talking about many)
2. definitely (one of the most frequently misspelled words)
3. its (not it's when referring to the possessive form)
4. sign up (not signup when used as a verb)
Examples:
1. A lot of people have trouble with spelling.
2. I definitely believe that English is a difficult language.
3. The shoelace came untied on its own.
4. Sign up for our affiliate program.
If any of you would like a list of commonly misspelled words that I have compiled over the past two years, send me an e-mail, and I'll be happy to send you the list. It's a one-page PDF file and is handy to keep next to your computer.
We live in a world of blending cultures, languages, and other inconsistent learning methods. We've got a lot more flavor and variety than we used to have, but strict spelling and grammar isn't as sacred as a lot of people would like to think.
Hell...look up these words we read all the time, and see if the definitions match the way they're used...

I am a critic of usage myself sometimes...seeing your and you're, or their, there, and they're misused all the time would drive me crazy. You have to get over it. Now on a daily basis, I deal with more different language speaking people than I can count. And I can't speak most of their language, so I have to give them credit for speaking mine. And I want their business, so as long as I can understand 1 in 5 words, I'm usually good.
