    Update on my Son's CD

    I have had a good and very bad day today. First off I am sure most of you know my dobie (Julius) of 11 years passed away today. I posted it in an earlier thread. I have been crying off and on today after losing our best friend and family member. The worst part is me having to tell my son's when they get home from school

    The good part is my son's finished recording their CD late last night it , we only have the rough copy at this time which turned it out Awesome I must say. So if anyone has any suggestions how I can get this CD once it is copyrighted into the right hands please post away.

          Thank you I do recall reading a thread about that sometime ago.

                  On another note your son's CD should already be copyrighted. All major nations follow the Berne copyright convention. In the US, almost everything created privately and originally after April 1, 1989 is copyrighted and protected whether it has a notice or not.

                  Notice only servers to strengthen the existing protection, by warning people, and by allowing one to get more and different damages on a legal level, but it is not necessary. The correct form for a notice is: Copyright [dates] by [author/owner].
