Not a very good picture. Looks much better then it does here but do you think it's worth anything? It came right off the set.

Look in the lower right corner. Notice the CBS FOX VIDEO logo? That's not an original poster from the ESB set. It was probably from a video store."Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats."

he has a point tho. none of my original movie posters say video on them, but all the ones my friend gave me from his video store do.Originally posted by Martin

Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

Empire Strikes Back was release in 1980. CBS FOX Video wasn't formed until 1982. CBS FOX Video did not make Empire Strikes Back. 20th Century Fox made it. CBS FOX Video was the video publisher when it was released on VHS (atleast in North America).Originally posted by Martin

Most of the old starwars stuff that is in really good shape will not go for more than a few hundred... But there is one out there that the studio will pay for...
And some of the collectors will pay even more..
About 6 months before Return of the Jedi came out, they released posters to advertise the movie. But they released them with the name Revenge of the Jedi. That was the name that they had planned on using at first.
The studio recalled them but did not get them all back. They were not sold to the public, just in the movie houses...
I think that the last offer for one of those was like 10K

i think 10k is a slight exaggeration, as the first version is worth 100-200 rolled and 50-100 folded, and the second version, released may 25 1983 sells for about 3/4 of that. also they were sold to the public, through the star wars fan club (at that time called the lucasfilm fan club)Originally posted by pornguy

so i dont know where you got you info from (pulled it out of your arse maybe?) but it is grossly inaccurate
i would still like to know more about this poster though, its definately a rare one, its the only ESB poster that i have seen without the ESB logo on it, a nice find! if i were you i would not sell it for less than a few hundred, until you find out more about it. can you tell me anything else about it? like anything in the small print?Comment
