    Do you pay for membership to adult sites? I do.

    I pay for memberships to the sites that buy content from me, as well as those that I find interesting. I learn a lot this way.

    All the companies I sell to would gladly give me a FREE password, but in my opinion I should pay just like anyone else. Especially since they are clients. They buy from me, I can at least respect that enough to be a paid member to their sites.

    Anyone else?

      As in the other thread i started I like to look at a paysiteI am going to promote espeacilly ifit is recurring and it is good for ideas on my own sites. But I dont see theneedto pay

              I usually give free passwords to affiliates, but never ask another webmaster for free access.

                  People sign up because we present them with a better alternative than free porn. I've looked around at some of the stuff out there for free and it's bad, fragmented and prone to drop me in pop up hell.

                  As people who want to make a living from selling porn we have to ensure that what we sell is better than what a surfer can get for free.

                                  Even with all of the free porn out there depending on the site and the content there is still definitely a need to sign up. If you are calling your surfers stupid for signing up then you are pushing the wrong sites.

                                          sometimes if I find a site I think is good enough to pay for
                                          SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                                                          I have bought sites when I thouhgt there may be a problem with the accounting system. That is as polite as I can say it.

                                                          If I need to get inside a site to help with promotion, I can typically get a password from the sponsor. After Donovan's remark, I feel a guilty or cheap? OK, over it now, not in the same income league as you guys.

                                                          Note: When I buy to test, I advise the sponsor so as not to screw them if that would be the case. Wanna wear that white hat! Damn hard these days with the Big G - trashing my traffic. I knew not to rely on that, but it was so sweet. So I have work to catch up to where I was.

                                                                              I sign up for a membership about once a month, and I pay fot them. Normally I do it to watch and learn. Right now I am a "deluxepass member" and I still dont understand how they can give that for 30 a month, allthough 50% of the content is the same on all the sites. But I am never a member for more then a month.

                                                                                          I hear you. I try to get a guest pass where possible otherwise I'll pay for one. Some of my affiliates hand out guest passes like candy while others never give passes. I don't know the difference except possibly the latter were burned by free password sites.

                                                                                              I never promote a site unless I have anonymously joined first and paid for a real membership... then become an affiliate. I don't like to push crap - and the only way to see if your members are going to keep paying month after month is check it out yourself...

                                                                                              I gotta tell ya' though - AmateurPages was the only one I bought that I kept for several months... actually almost a year. Great stuff in there. Lens and the boys take care of their members. I really miss having access to AP...

                                                                                              As for AFF though - I won't ever drop the membership there. Annual gold member myself. Fuckin' place rocks as a member. I can see why I keep 37% of my members...
