Getting the most out of your TGP traffic.
Let's be honest here. We all know that some of the hardest traffic to work with is TGP traffic. Why? Because the people who are visiting these sites are generally looking for free content. We all know how it works.
However the nice thing about this type of traffic is because you have so many click happy people, you have the ability to really target your sponsors. In this article we're going to run through some tips and tricks on how to take your existing traffic base and surfers- and get more TARGETTED clicks to your sponsors.
There are many types of traffic within a tgp. Here are the basic types:
1. Blind Click
- This can be interperetted into many different types. For the purpose of this article we are referring to when a user clicks a link that just says for example, "Asian" and they get sent off somewhere random or even to a sponsor.
2. Skim
- This is used to feed trades on many tgps these days. You take a percentage of the clicks to a thumb or a link and you send it to another site. They will do the same for you, thus building your traffic base.
3. Thumbs
- When a visitor clicks on a thumbnail on your site and is sent to a corresponding gallery of the same woman/man.
4. Sponsor Banners
- A button, thumbnail, or banner or even FPA/HPA on your site that when clicked goes directly to a sponsor.
5. Trade Traffic
- A link to a trade partner on your site that when clicked goes directly to the trade site.

Let's start with Blind traffic. Blind click traffic is by far the hardest to convert. For obvious reasons, too. If you walked into a grocery store and wanted to buy apples, and asked a clerk where the apples where- you would expect to be sent to apples. However if he sent you to the frozen turkeys... do you think you're going to buy one just because he sent you there? Probably not. Not unless you really needed a turkey anyways.
Make sure to keep blind traffic relivant. If you're going to throw them around make sure you're keeping them inside if the same niche. If they are coming from Teen and going to Mature... you're going to be losing out BIGTIME. You're now throwing away traffic. It may seem obvious- but check. What niche is your site? Okay, are you sending any blind traffic to any other niches?
There are a TON of blind click sponsors out there that will buy up your clicks. Now think about this for a second. Let's say you are getting some decent traffic to your site, and you start selling your blind traffic for 3 cents per click. Remember that in the TOS most sponsors want unique IP for every click. So we're looking at $30 per 1,000 clicks right? Sounds good doesn't it! My question would be- why not "qualify" your click a little better and save the traffic for yourself? If you're converting 1:250 for example with a sponsor's hosted galleries, you've got 4 sales in 1,000 clicks. With Epic Cash you're going to earn $25 per sale. That is $100 for 1,000 clicks, as opposed to $30.
Want a quick tip on how to "qualify" your traffic? Try this:
Change the text on your blind clicks! Try changing them from "Teens" to "Blonde Teen in a Bikini". This adds value to the click and now you can send it to a gallery with a teen in a bikini. The more the surfer knows the happier he is.

Now let's take a look at some ways you can increase the clickthroughs on your existing traffic.
1. Explain where they are going before you send them.
- If the user THINKS they are going somewhere and end up somewhere completely different they will of course be upset with this. Try to explain as much as you can about the link they are going to before you send them.
- Do you have a PURE thumb tgp? WHY? Add value to it by adding a table at the top, in the middle or even at the bottom of the page with a list of 5 galleries and a description of it beside the link. Make an interactive sort of feel by changing them up daily or weekly.
- ALWAYS link to other niches somewhere on your site. Perhaps you have a navigation area on your site. Pick some related niches or fetishes and add a link to them. You never know how your trade sites or even your SE traffic is coming to you or what the surfer is expecting. So offer them some alternatives. I've run several TGPs where a link saying "Gay? Click Here!" has sent 5% of my traffic outbound to a gay tour. Imagine losing that 5%, or not even knowing it was there to begin with!
- You can even start sub-tgps by linking off of your front page. If your domain is: www.spiffytgpstuff.com add a page called "anal.html" and put up galleries of anal chicks. It's amazing how fast you can build up little traffic pages and soon you may need to buy a domain and start up another tgp JUST for your new sub-page!
These are some easy tips that may seem simple to some but revolutionary to others. Don't be afraid to try new things on your sites. Sticking to the same old will just give you the same old results. If you're struggling with conversions, it's probably because you need to try something different than what you're currently doing. Add some spice to it!
