When I said the doors open to the outside I meant when you exit your motel room you are standing outside. Outdoors. Not that the doors open outwards. The same with Hotels...when you exit your room you're indoors.Originally posted by doober

That's actually what I meant. (and yeah, I know it sounds stupid and petty) hehe.. I never really considered a desk in a room a lobby. In my mind a lobby is an entry way with elevators and such..

Call me cheap... if it has a clean bed and room, I'll take a motel over a hotel anyday, as long as it's not for business. I see little difference, unless I'm paying over over $300 a night (in which case I'm entertaining clients).Comment
