I will always be a loyalist to the 8-bit final fantasy II. I was just wondering which ones others thing was the greatest of all time.

FFX-2 is WAAAY too girly, I mean you ONLY play with girls
and all the gay dancing and shit, argh...

Man, I still think that this mud loving player will always love the simplicity of 2. It was what rpg and text based palyers dreamed of. for what it's worth, i think final fantasy 7 was the best overall. 8 had a good story but the gameplay was shite. i liked mystic quest becuase i could lure my non-rpg friends into final fantasy lol.

Final Fantasy 7, because of the unexpected tragedy.
But, Final Fantasy 3 rock my world twice. One with the opera singing that made me lauph and smile, and second the complete destruction of the planet which made me sit deep in my chair in gaze and stupor.
Must say that the end of Lunar Silver blue put a tear in my eyes. And that, Chrono Cross is still fresh in my mind. The original FF on NES was cool....but I preferred the Dragonwarrior series back then.
Note: Finishing the first FF game without realizing you have to 'equip' weapons, really sucks and takes a longgggggg time ;p
Especially when you waste hours fighting to get enough cash for your first Silver Sword, only to wonder why in fight mode your character still punches ;pComment
