Dude, WTF you talking about, AFI isn't Emo, they are a bit of everything. And if you can't understand their lyrics you need some education.

AFI has some really good songs, not the popular ones on the radio tho, and the songs have really good lyrics! Their older CD's are better than the one that you got that song from!

AFI is far from Emo

They did sign major label and changed the sound a bit to promote sales, but what band don't as they grow.

What happened to if you don't like it don't listen to it.

It's funny to bash music that's pushed on MTV, yet you then pick up the attitude you're supposed to have to listen to it.

There are different styles and forms of music for a reason, don't like it, don't fucking listen to it.

I don't know many punk rockers who sit and bitch about how crappy Garth Brooks is, they just don't fucking care. They'd rather learn more about the music they do like.

I'd love to see some of the people who always complain here in a nice Exploited pit. See how hard they are then

ive seen them live 2 times and that was 2 crazy show imho
i dont know how AFI is well known or not in the USA, but here they started having videoclip on Musique Plus ( french version of MuchMusic) this year and just started to be played on semi-commercial radio...
anyway
i listened tons of punk/hardcore music in my life, from everywhere around the world
from strung out to dogwood, passing by randy, satancis surfers, reward, sir veja, from automn to ashes, hatebreed, one king down, etc etc etc etc

i think i know the punk rock scene a little :P
