You know what they say. The worst type of non-smoker is an ex-smoker. I stopped in '99 cold turkey. Was hell quiting..but very glad I did.
It is amazing how addictions can sneak up on you. They say quitting cigs is more difficult than quitting heroin.
The ONLY time I miss a cig is on RARE occassions after a meal or with coffee. It took me a long time to stop my left hand automatically reaching for my cigs while I was reading the monitor too!
