How Long Will This Industry Last, Before...

How long will this industry last, before the scamming and bullshitting finally causes a collapse?

I think what'll happen is the customers will get so pissed off that they'll dump all the porn they've d/loaded over the past 20 years into one bigass database and everyone can go for free.

I remember when everyone got together at a stadium in Cincinatti and burned all their disco records in a bonfire.

That musta been a happy day. I still say to this day the single most step in the direction toward the decline of civilization as we know it was when Disco was invented.

It made the 6 O'clock news all over the world I believe. It was around 1980 and a rock radio station rallied people to show up...

This business is filled with a wide cross section of people - From the clever to the stupid, from the businessperson to the wanker. Probably 0,01% fall into niether category.

Unfortunately, the first two in both cases creates the mistakes that may shorten the life of this business - As they are only considering what they can rake in and how quickly they can do it -

The second two are the guys that do not understand the consequences of their behaviour, and are likely to add fuel to the anti-first group.

The 0.01% who do not fall into the above categories, are the ones trying to do things correctly - But go through life un-noticed...

I think 500-1000 years should be a fair value

StuartD (Masked Man here on GFY), a good buddy of mine developed it and runs it. It really works great and thanks for noticing.

I don't think it will end...it will just evolve into something
different. More laws or regulations will be implemented
                              on the spamming, etc.
I am pretty optimistic that the industry isn't going anywhere!
