A criminals worst fear when breaking into a place is the fear of bieng shot. They fear the citizen on the other end of the door with a shotgun or a .45 thats about to blow them away. A criminal with a guns greatest joy is an unarmed victom. I too am a Veteran of the first Gulf war so I too have respect for any other veteran whether its in my Country or another. Gun control is a first step of a controling government.......whats the next step? a ban on porn? then what? civil liberties? where does it stop? "the right to keep and bear arms" is part of what our country was based upon. Im all for enforcing gun laws. Im all for fully prosecuting criminals that use them to the full extent of the law. I have never shot a gun at anybody outside of the military. The main reason a family member gets shot is the same reason people crash cars. they are untraind in their use and dont have the respect for them that they should.
