(From Best to Worst)

1. "A-List" Celebs - These celebrities are big money draws. Generally actors, musicians, or mass amounts of people pay to see them perform on a regular basis.

Examples: Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Eminem, Julia Roberts, Britney Spears, (although she may soon be relegated to "B-List" Celeb status --- see below), Quintin Tarrantino, Steven Speilberg, etc...

2. "B-List" Celebs - There are many different species of these interesting creatures.

a) Inherited fame with no apparent talent - Examples: Paris Hilton, Lisa Marie Presley, Nicole Ritchie, Baldwin Brothers, etc...

b) Fallen Celebs - i.e. Celebrities who were once "A-List", yet at some point fell out of favor with the entertainment industry.
Examples: Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, Cher, etc...

c) Sports Stars - Examples: Shaquille O'neal, Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, etc...

d) Television Personalities - Examples: Ellen Degeneres, Davis Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Ray Romano, Ted Danson, etc...

e) Select Supermodels - Examples: Cindy Crawford, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, etc...

3. "C-List Celebs" - Celebrities that tend to have small followings, but do have an audience.
