    We're about to have a white heavyweight boxing champ.

    Vitali Klitschko.

    After handing out a beating to Lennox Lewis in their last fight (which was stopped because of a cut), Lennox has decided to retire rather than face defeat at the hands of Klitschko in a rematch.

    How long has it been since there has been a white heavyweight champ?

                                                                                              you have to be a great fighter to get to the top... but it is pretty obvious why he is retiring. he got lucky n' probably hit klitchko on the side of his glove causing the initial tear.

                                                                                              plain n' simple he got lucky, and he knows it. otherwise if he thought he could win with pure skill, he would rematch the guy. he KNOWS this is going to dampen his legacy, but he'd rather have it this way instead of completely losing to klitchko..

                                                                                              its a smart move, klitch is clearly the stronger fighter of the 2.
